What are the requirements for a fermenter?

The basic condition of mechanical mixing stainless steel fermenter is to use the mechanical mixing machine to fully mix the air with the fermentation liquid, oxygen dissolved in the fermentation liquid, to ensure the supply of microbial growth and reproduction and the oxygen required for fermentation. Pneumatic ball valve tight structure, can withstand repeated steam sterilization, wall lubrication, corrosion resistance and other functions, conducive to sterilization, reduce the impact of metal ions on biological reactions.

Factors affecting the cleaning effect include cleaning intensity, high temperature fan cleaning temperature, cleaning agent type and concentration, cleaning time, stainless steel fermenter inner wall roughness, etc. Stainless steel fermenter cleaning has the following details:

1. With alkali cleaning, only need to remove organic matter, cleaning temperature can reach 80℃, cleaning effect will be better. Cleaning with mononitric acid, but inorganic matter has the appropriate effect, organic matter is ineffective.

2. Stainless steel fermenter wall T541 anticorrosive layer is partially damaged. After repair, the surface finish is significantly reduced, and it is difficult to clean the tank wall dirt.

3. The pot washer or ball washer is worn or blocked, resulting in unclean cleaning of part of the stainless steel fermenter and accumulation of dirt.

Application method and classification of stainless steel fermenter

Stainless steel fermenter is divided into mechanical stirring ventilation equipment and non-mechanical stirring ventilation equipment. According to the needs of microbial growth and metabolism, it can be divided into aerobic stainless steel fermenter and anaerobic fermentation irrigation. The steps of the stainless steel fermenter are as follows:

One, correct pH electrode and dissolved oxygen electrode. Cold zone sterilization. If necessary, fit the medium into the tank, seal as required, and put into a large sterilizing pot for sterilization.

Two, the pot is cool, put it on the fermentation table, secure it. Turn on the cooling water, turn on the pump power supply, connect the ventilation pipe to start ventilation, adjust the suction knob to make the ventilation volume is appropriate.

Third, after the temperature is stable and the parameters are accurate, the seeds are connected and shaken, the fermentation time is measured, and the parameters are recorded.

4. After fermentation, clean the tank and electrodes, insert the electrodes into a triangle bottle with 4M potassium chloride and wait. Ask for a register to be filled out and signed by the person in charge.

Note:

The tank must be checked before sterilization, and all electrodes must not be lower than the liquid level. For canning, disassembly, sterilization and other vulnerable parts, special attention should be paid to the easily damaged pH electrode and tank.

Before turning on the power to the stainless steel fermenter, make sure the cooling water is turned on and the temperature detector is inserted into the container. Otherwise, the heating circuit will be burned out.

Fermentation process, the table should be properly cleaned, used petri dishes and other items should be cleaned in time, because of the reason of the lye or water should be wiped in time.
